The Cinnabar is a tall booth that turns each table into its own bay. A black timber shell wraps the red upholstered seat and back, curving forward at the ends like wings, so guests at the next table are screened at shoulder height without a separate partition.
Construction. Solid hardwood and plywood carcass in a black finish, with the wing ends shaped and edge-banded. The back is divided into wide upholstered panels, and the seat is a single long cushion on a slatted plywood deck. A recessed black plinth lifts the shell off the floor so staff can mop under the front edge, and leveling feet sit inside it.
Why it suits hot pot. Red commercial vinyl or leather wipes clean after broth splashes and hides the marks that chili oil leaves on pale covers. The high back also blocks drafts from hoods and aisles, which helps keep induction pots at a steady simmer.
Where it works. Hot pot, Sichuan and Hunan restaurants, Chinese bistros and Asian fusion dining rooms, along a wall or back to back in the center of a room.
Options. Length from 48 to 96 in (122-244 cm); single- or double-sided; color of upholstery and shell; straight or wing ends. If the booth backs onto a power wall, we can route cable for an induction table through the plinth.
